Benedictine Sisters of the Good Shepherd Rio Grande City, TX (956) 486-2680
Our new and developing monastery is located in the Brownsville Diocese in South Texas on 115 acres of ranch land, which was donated by the Texaco Oil Co. We are three professed Sisters who are now receiving new applicants. We are involved in promoting the new evangelization through our "Fountain of Life Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel" for the laity of the area and an LPFM Catholic radio station that is evolving at the monastery. We offer space and time for people to come aside and rest awhile in the Lord. Our monastic hearts are set on seeking God and transforming prayerful presence for promoting the “culture of life”. If you would like to join us in promotion of God’s word, we welcome you by submitting a resume via the our mailing address, our email or our phone number indicated on the "Contact Us" section of our website.
